UniFi Access readers and intercoms don't unlock doors on their own — they tell the Hub Mini to do it. This small DIN-rail unit sits in the rack or behind the door and handles the actual control of the electric strike: when a valid credential is presented, it switches power to the lock and the door opens.

Supports a single door, with two extra inputs for a door sensor and a request-to-exit button. Powered over PoE++. Can connect up to two UniFi Access Readers or Protect Cameras — useful for an inside/outside reader pair on the same door.
